Llanarth Flying Saucer
Llanarth Flying Saucer is Llanarth Flying Comet's dam. Her sire was Llanarth Braint and her dam was Llanarth Rocket. Llanarth Flying Saucer was born in 1951. She was a Chestnut Roan with a blaze and a near hind white sock. She was 13.2hh. Llanarth Flying Saucer was shown extensively in the Section C brood mare class at the Royal Welsh Shows winning a second prize in 1956, another second prize in a mixed sex class in 1958, and again second in 1960, fourth in the mare class in 1962, fourth in 1964 and in 1965 she was awarded the Section C Championship and consequently retired from the show ring. During all these years she had been a prolific producer of foals. She had 19 foals. These include:
