Derwen Rosina was born in 1962 and she was black with a small white star. She stood at 14.2hh. Her sire was Cahn Dafydd and her dam was Rhandir Black, by Pentre Eiddwen Comet. If any Welsh Cob has been missed at the peak of its career then this is the case of Derwen Rosina. She was Champion female at the Royal Welsh Show at the remarkably young age of four years, a feat that she repeated again in 1967 and 1968. Derwen Rosina died in 1970.
